DESCRIPTION:A national initiative run by Surfers Against Sewage to track the miles made by voluntary litterpickers. Join us and Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade on Saturday 8 May 9-11am. Hear more about the Collective, do a little litterpicking on the beach and surrounding areas, and watch TVLB “harnessed-up” to clear the cliffs of rubbish.\nTo track your steps and add them towards the millions miles, you can join the Surfers Against Sewage Strava group here: https://www.strava.com/clubs/887214\nWhile we aim to provide litterpicking equipment, if you have your own, it would be very helpful! Also remember to bring a warm jacket for our Cullerfornian springtime and always litterpick at your own risk.\nMeet from 9am by the old fountain on the cliff top, at the junction between Mast Lane and Beverley Terrace.\n
